Ingredients
-
1 packet of Hi Note Cheezio
1.5 lb of chicken wings, flats and drumettes
Olive oil Spray
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
Directions
Dry wings really well with paper towels.
Place in a large bowl and thoroughly toss with olive oil. Next add the baking powder and toss again to coat.
Spray the basket of the air fryer with a light coat of olive oil, using olive oil spray.
Place the wings on a single layer into the air fryer basket and cook at 380 F for 20 minutes. Remove the basket and toss the wings halfway through the cooking time.
After 20 minutes, carefully remove the wings and place in a clean, large bowl. Thoroughly toss the wings with a whole packet of Hi Note Cheezio and freshly ground black pepper.
Place the wings back into the air fryer basket and increase the air fryer temperature to 400 F and cook for an additional 2 minutes or until the Cheezio forms a crispy crust on the wings. Use a cooking thermometer to check that the wings have reached an internal temperature of 165 F and remove. You might need to cook the wings in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
Place the cooked chicken wings on a platter and eat immediately.
