Sloppy Cheeseburger Sliders
1lb 85/15 Ground beef
1 packet Sloppy Papi seasoning
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup sliced dill pickle chips
- ½ cup fine diced yellow onions
- 4-6 slices of sliced cheddar or cheese of choice
- 1 12ct. Hawaiian or dinner rolls, sliced horizontally
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp white sesame seeds
1/2 cup mayo
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 2 tbsp sweet relish
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix ground beef with Worcestershire sauce and Sloppy Papi seasoning.
Form a 12x9” rectangle patty on a prepared baking sheet. Pat the meat down so it’s a uniform thickness. Patty will look larger than the pack of dinner rolls but the meat will shrink as it cooks!
Place the prepared patty in the preheated oven and bake for 20 min.
Meanwhile, mix all ingredients for special sauce and set aside.
Remove the cooked hamburger patty from the oven and drain all the oil that has rendered out. Discard parchment paper and wipe down the baking sheet.
Place the bottom half of the sliced dinner rolls on the baking sheet. Add the cooked hamburger patty, sliced cheese, diced onions, pickles, and spread the special sauce on the top half of the dinner rolls.
Brush or spoon melted butter on top of the rolls and sprinkle sesame seeds.
Place back in the oven for 10 min until the cheese is melted.
Serve immediately. Leftovers will not sit well as it's meant to be enjoyed while fresh.
Leftover special sauce can be enjoyed with Cheezio wedges!
