Savor the mouth-watering flavors of our Sloppy Fajitas recipe. Tender strips of boneless chicken breast are cooked to perfection. Infused with our Sloppy Papi seasoning, these fajitas are so easy and delicious to make. Thinly sliced red and green bell peppers and yellow onions add a burst of color and flavor. Garnish with fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice, this dish is best served with warmed tortillas and guacamole.
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1.5” long strips
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 large bell peppers, preferably green and red, sliced into thin strips
- 1 yellow onion, sliced thin
1 packet Sloppy Papi seasoning
- 1 tsp cumin, optional
- Optional garnish: fresh squeezed lime juice, chopped cilantro
Heat olive oil in pan over medium heat, add in chicken strips and cook until chicken has gotten some color, about 3 to 5 minutes.
- Add the onion and bell pepper into the pan with the chicken and add the Sloppy Papi Seasoning. Add another tablespoon of oil if the ingredients in the pan start looking dry. If desired, add 1 tsp of cumin to give the dish a more traditional flavor. Cook until the chicken has completely cooked through and the veggies are fork tender, approximately 2 to 3 minutes.
Serve sizzling hot with tortillas and guacamole. Garnish with lime and cilantro. Enjoy!
